Welcome to Congregation Bet Chaim!

Bet Chaim’s focus is on individual and family participation in religious observances. We strive to provide meaningful educational experiences for members of all ages. We seek to promote continuity by teaching, learning, and integrating observances which lead toward Jewish growth and enrichment.

Our goal is not merely to exist as Jews, but to live as Jews. We make every effort to translate traditional values and beliefs into our daily lives. Torah (study), Avoda (worship), Tzedaka (charity) and Ma’asim Tovim (good deeds) are part of our applied consciousness, not merely academic concepts.

Join us for Friday evening Shabbat!

...but what should I expect?

When and where are services?

Friday evening Shabbat services begin at 8 pm with the exception of special holidays or occasions. Please click here for our Calendar of Events to see when Shabbat Services will be conducted.

Where do I park?

We meet at Songbirds Music, Art, & Dance Center. Please use the parking lot right in front of the building.

Ample parking is available. There are handicapped spots available if needed. If none are left, please let a current member know and they will be able to help!

What do I do with my kids?

All ages are encouraged to attend services. We believe that children add life to the service and should be able to participate.

How should I dress?

There is no required wardrobe for services although most members tend to wear business casual clothing.

How long are services?

Services run around 60 minutes. After services there is an Oneg provided by a member of the congregation, so please feel free to join us for snacks and chat.

Where should I sit?

Please sit wherever you find comfortable! There are no specified seats!

We warmly open our doors to interfaith families and those of all backgrounds and orientations, and welcome all who wish to participate and be a part of our family.

Endless opportunities exist to participate in our many programs, committees, classes, and special events for all ages. Join us to worship, celebrate, learn, and grow...and be a part of our vibrant congregational family!
