"Begin Building Your Family Tree"
Start on a family discovery journey, Tuesday, September 6th, with the Jewish Genealogical Society of Greater Orlando (JGSGO) as it launches “My Jewish Roots” a JGSGO Workshop Roadshow. The FREE workshops will include hands-on labs to start or extend your family tree by adding newly discovered ancestors and living cousins. Bring a laptop or participate on-line!
The first of 10 monthly “My Jewish Roots” workshops, “Begin Building Your Family Tree”, will cover the fundamentals of starting your family discovery journey. How to:
Write down what you currently know
Interview and record living relatives
Find family history artifacts
Select family tree software
Start collecting DNA
